Protein G is a Streptococcus cell wall protein, which can specifically bind to the FC segment of immunoglobulin IgG. It can not only be combined with all human, mouse, and rat IgG subclasses but also with a guinea pig, rabbit, goat, cow, sheep, and horse IgG. Protein G has a wide range of applications. It can be used to separate and purify or remove IgG from serum and ascites, purify the monoclonal antibody, and isolate the antigen-antibody complex. Natural G protein is made up of several similar domains. Under neutral conditions, it has a strong affinity for the Fc fragment of IgG. As the pH decreases, the affinity gradually weakens. However, you still need a very low pH to separate IgG from protein G. For example, you need ph2.5-3.5 to elute IgG from protein G medium, and it is easy to add and inactivate certain antibodies.

EE prog optimizes the natural G protein domain, maintains the affinity in a neutral state, greatly reduces the affinity in an acidic environment, makes the antibody easier to dissociate and elute, and the general antibody can be dissociated with ph3.5-5.0.
